The scouting movement commenced, and Baden-Powell met Girl Scouts at Crystal Palace, where a rally of scout troops was formed. The first Girl Scouts were formed by Baden-Powell’s sister, Agnes Baden-Powell.Baden-Powell also embarked on a World tour (disperse the ideas of the scout movement) and, on the voyage, met Juliette Gordon Low, who was with the Girl Guide movement and was later inspired by Baden-Powell.
