About Glenn Frey Glenn Frey, born Glenn Lewis Frey was an American singer, musician, songwriter, and actor.He was born on November 6, 1948, in the city of Detroit, Michigan. His parents were Edward Frey and Nellie Frey.He had two siblings, Matthew Frey and Alan Frey.
